P0700

DTC P0700 Automatic Transmission
This code is generated by any detected transmission fault. Acura does not have a diagnostic chart for this DTC. To eliminate DTC P0700, troubleshoot the other automatic transmission problem(s) according to the DTC(s) indicated.


NOTE: The D4 indicator light and the Malfunction Indicator Lamp may come on simultaneously.

IMPORTANT

To view the freeze data from the stored A/T DTC don't clear P0700 until you've gone into the Testers A/T menu and selected Freeze Data or DTC. If you clear P0700 before you retrieve the DTC, you'll lose the freeze data and you won't be able to view the conditions that were present when the DTC was set.
