Variable Induction Control Actuator: Adjustments

Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Cable Adjustment - J32A2 Engine




1. Inspect the IMRC actuator cable (A). If the cable is damaged, replace it.
2. Inspect the cable free play.

Cable free play should be: 3 ± 2 mm (1/8 ± 1/16 in.)

If the cable free play is Out of specification, loosen the lock nut (B), then adjust the cable.
