Door Switch: Testing and Inspection

Front Door Switch:

1. Remove the door panel.




2. Disconnect the 8P connector from the door lock actuator assembly.

3. Check continuity between the No.3 and No.8 terminals.
- There should be continuity with the switch released (door open).
- There should be no continuity with the switch pushed (door closed).

Rear Door Switch:

1. Remove the rear door panel.




2. Disconnect the 6P connector from the door lock actuator assembly.

3. Check continuity between the No.2 and No.6 terminals.
- There should be continuity with the switch released (door open).
- There should be no continuity with the switch pushed (door closed).
