General Description
How the Circuit WorksPassenger's Power Seat
Power is provided at all times through fuses 5, 6 and 11 (in the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box). Power to the seat adjustment switch comes through fuse 6.
Slide
When you move the slide switch to BACKWARD, power is supplied to the slide motor through the switch. The motor is grounded through the FORWARD contact of the slide switch. The motor will run until you release the switch or the seat reaches the end of its travel. The contacts for FORWARD operation of the slide switch are wired the opposite way of the BACKWARD contacts, causing the motor to run in the opposite direction.
Recline
Recline operation is similar to the slide operation.
The passenger's power seat control unit receives input through the BLU/BLK wire, indicating that (A/T) the vehicle is in PARK, or (M/T) the parking brake is engaged.
