Seat Temperature Switch: Testing and Inspection

Switch Test

A/T:

1. Remove the console panel.




2. Push out the seat heater switch (A) from behind the console panel tray.
3. Disconnect the 6P connector (B) from the switch.




4. Check for continuity between the terminal in each switch position according to the table.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulbs (C) or the switch.

M/T:

1. Remove the console panel.




2. Push out the seat heater switch (A) from behind the console panel tray.
3. Disconnect the 10P connector (B) from the switch.




4. Check for continuity between the terminal in each switch position according to the table.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulbs (C) or the switch.
