Hazard Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection
Hazard Warning Switch TestWith Navigation System:
1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the hazard warning switch (B).
3. Pull the hazard warning switch out from the instrument panel.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulbs (C) or the switch.
Without Navigation System:
1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the hazard warning switch (B).
3. Remove the two mounting screws.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulbs (C) or the switch.
