Quarter Glass
ReplacementNOTE:
- Familiarize yourself with the glass replacement process
- The quarter glass adhesive needs to be cut from inside the vehicle with utility knife.
- If the molding is damaged, replace the quarter glass, molding, and clips as an assembly.
- If any of the clips are broken, the quarter glass can be reinstalled using butyl tape.
Parts Removal
First remove these items:
- B-pillar upper trim
- C-pillar trim
- Quarter window trim
- Rear side trim panel, as necessary
- Headliner, as necessary
- Roof drip molding
Glass Removal
From inside the vehicle, with a utility knife, carefully cut trough the adhesive all the way around while pulling rear portion of the headliner down or the upper portion of the rear side trim panel back as necessary.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Apply protective tape along the edge of the entire quarter glass opening.
