CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
NOTE: Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
Hatchback
Rear trim panel removal:
1. Open the hatch.
2. Remove the rear shelf.
3. Remove the rear seat.
4. Remove the trunk mat and spare tire lid.
5. Remove the rear body stiffener (Type-R model). Remove the child seat tether anchors, and remove the rear trim panel.
6. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
NOTE:
- If necessary, replace any damaged clips.
- Make sure the child seat tether anchors are installed securely.
