1. Do the neutral position memorization.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Does the VSA activation indicator go off ?
YES-The system is OK at this time.
NO-Go to step 3.
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Disconnect VSA control unit connector C (26P).
Does the VSA activation indicator go off ?
YES-Replace the VSA control unit.
NO-Repair short to body ground in the wire between the VSA control unit and the gauge assembly. If the wire is OK, replace the gauge assembly printed circuit boarded
