Lower Arm
Replacement1. Raise the rear of the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported. Remove the rear wheel.
2. Remove the control arm from the vehicle.
- 1 Remove the self-locking nut (A) from the knuckle bolt.
- 2 Remove the self-locking nut (B) from the rear suspension subframe.
- 3 Remove the control arm (C) from the vehicle.
3. Install the control arm in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Tighten all mounting hardware to the specified torque values. Before installing the wheel, clean the mating surfaces on the brake disc and the inside of the wheel.
- Check the rear wheel alignment, and adjust it if necessary.
