Front Seat Disassembly/Reassembly - 4-Way Power

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and precautions and procedures before performing repairs or service.

1. To remove the seat-back, remove the seat-back cover from the seat-back pad/frame.
2. Disassemble the seat as shown.




3. Reassemble the seat in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:
- Route the seat wire harness and rear seat access cable correctly.
- Make sure the rear seat access cable is connected securely.
- Make sure the bushing and pivot washer are installed correctly.
- Apply multipurpose grease to the moving portion of the seat track.
- To prevent wrinkles in the seat-back cover, stretch the material evenly over the pad.
- Reinitialize the OPDS control unit.
