1. Remove hub. Service and Repair





2. Raise the locking tab on the spindle nut, then remove the nut.





3. Remove the purser using a two-jaw puller.





4. Separate the wheel bearing from the hub using the special tools and a press.

CAUTION: Hold onto the hub to keep it from falling when pressed clear.





5. Remove the outboard bearing inner race from the hub as shown.

NOTE: Wash the bearing and hub thoroughly in high flash point solvent before reassembly. Replace the bearing with a new one after removal.





6. Press a new wheel bearing into the hub using the special tools shown and a press.





7. Install the purser.

CAUTION: Be sure the purser engages with the pin on the spindle.





8. Tighten the new spindle nut to specified torque, then stake the spindle nut shoulder against the spindle.
9. Install hub. Service and Repair
