DIAGNOSIS
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and push the Call Answer/End button. After the OnStar system says "ready," say "dial." The system will say "number please". Next say "zero." The system will repeat the word "zero." Continue with the numbers one through nine.
NOTE:
If, when you push the Call Answer/End button, the OnStar system makes a beep followed by a double beep, push the Call Answer/End button again and say "voice feedback." The system will say "voice feedback is now on." Say "dial," then continue with the numbers.
2. If the OnStar system misinterprets any of the spoken numbers, try repeating the misinterpreted number.
^ If the OnStar system misinterprets the number again, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
^ If the OnStar system repeats the numbers correctly, continue with normal troubleshooting.
