Right Rear Wheel Camber Out of Specification

SYMPTOM

The right rear wheel camber is out of specification.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the right rear suspension upper arm, and do a four-wheel alignment.

Any repair performed after warranty expiration may be eligible for goodwill consideration by the District Parts and Service Manager or your Zone Office. You must request consideration, and get a decision, before starting work.

DIAGNOSIS

Check the right rear wheel camber:

^ If the right rear wheel camber is greater than -1° 30' but less than -2° 15', replace the right rear upper arm. See REPAIR PROCEDURE.

^ If the camber is greater than -2° 15', check for bent or damaged chassis and suspension components and repair as necessary.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Replace the right rear upper arm.

^ Refer to page 18-32 of the 2004-05 TSX Service Manual, or

^ Online, enter keyword UPPER ARM, and select Rear Upper Arm Removal/Installation from the list.
