REVISION SUMMARY
Under WARRANTY CLAIM IN FORMATION, the flat rate time was revised after the operation was reviewed and validated.
SYMPTOM
The driver feels a vibration through the steering wheel when the brakes are applied normally.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The front brake pads have worn the discs unevenly.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Refinish the front brake discs, and install new front brake pads.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front brake pads:
^ Refer to page 19-11 of the 04-07 TSX Service Manual, or
^ Online, enter keyword PAD, and select Front
Brake Pad Inspection and Replacement from the list.
2. Inspect the front brake discs (see page 19-14 of the service manual). (Online, use the keyword FRONT DISC, and select Front Brake Disc Inspection from the list.)
^ If the discs are within the service limits, go to step 3.
^ If the discs are beyond the service limits, replace the discs, then go to step 3.
3. Refinish the brake discs using a commercially available on-car brake lathe. Refer to service bulletin 00-037, Brake Disc Refinishing Guidelines.
4. Install new front brake pads:
^ Refer to page 19-11 of the service manual, or
^ Online, enter keyword PAD, and select Front
Brake Pad Inspection and Replacement from
the list.
5. Test-drive the vehicle to make sure the problem is eliminated.
