DTC 81-64

1. Erase the DTC memory.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
Does the SRS indicator stay on, and is DTC 81-4x, 81-5x. 81-63, or 81-64 indicated?
Old data:
YES - Replace the front passenger's weight sensor unit. If the DTC returns, replace the SRS unit. End old data
New data:
YES - Recalibrate the front passenger's weight sensor unit. If the DTC returns, replace the passenger's weight sensor unit. If you are still reading this DTC after replacing the seat weight sensor unit, then replace the SRS unit. End new data
