DTC 60
DTC 60: Communication Line Error1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
3. Turn the adaptive cruise control (ACC) switch ON.
4. Watch the adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator.
Does the adaptive cruise control (ACC) indicator stay off?
YES - Intermittent failure. The system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
NO - Go to step 5.
5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 60 indicated?
YES - Go to step 6.
NO - Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s). If there are no DTCs, the system is OK at this time.
6. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
7. Disconnect the 20P connector from the adaptive cruise control (ACC) unit.
8. Check resistance between the adaptive cruise control (ACC) unit 20P connector No. 10 and No. 20 terminals.
Is there about 60 Ohms at room temperature?
YES - The F-CAN line is OK at this time, check for loose or poor connections. If OK, replace the adaptive cruise control (ACC) unit.
NO - Repair an open in the wire between the adaptive cruise control (ACC) unit and the branch of the communication line (CANL line or CANH line.)
