DTC 14-1

DTC 14-1, 14-2: Lateral Acceleration Sensor Neutral Position
1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
2. Start the engine.
3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 14-1 and/or 14-2 indicated?
YES - Go to step 4.
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

4. Place the vehicle on a flat surface.
5. Check the lateral acceleration sensor A/D value in the DATA LIST with the HDS.
Is there about 2.2 - 2.8 V?
YES - Go to step 6.
NO - Check the yaw rate-lateral acceleration sensor installation.

6. Check for yaw rate-lateral acceleration neutral position memorization with the HDS.
Is the value OK?
YES - Replace the SH-AWD control unit.
NO - Do the yaw rate-lateral acceleration neutral position memorization. Programming and Relearning
