Door Mirrors Stay Tilted Down After Shifting Out of Reverse
SYMPTOM
The door mirrors intermittently stay in the tilted-down position after you shift out of reverse.
PROBABLE CAUSE
There is a software error in the MPCS (multiplex control system).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the driver's door MPCS unit and passenger's door MPCS unit.

Passenger's Door MPCS unit: P/N 38860-SJA-A13

Out of warranty:
Any repair performed after warranty expiration may be eligible for goodwill consideration by the District Parts and Service Manager or your Zone Office. You must request consideration, and get a decision, before starting work.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
2. Remove both front door panels:
^ Refer to page 20-9 of the 2005-07 HL Service Manual or
^ Online, enter the keyword PANEL and select Front Door Panel Removal/Installation from the list.
3. Replace both MPCS units.
4. Reinstall the door panels in the reverse order of removal.
5. Reset the power window control unit:
^ Refer to page 22-340 of the service manual, or
^ Online, enter the keyword RESET and select Power Window Control Unit Reset from the list.
