How the Circuit Works

Front Passenger's Power Seat

Power Supply
Battery voltage is supplied at all times through fuse 13 and fuse 17 (in the driver's under-dash fusel relay box) to the front passenger's power seat adjustment switch.

Slide
When the slide switch is moved to FORWARD, battery voltage is supplied through fuse 17 to the slide motor through the front passenger's power seat adjustment switch. The slide motor is grounded through the BACKWARD contact of the slide switch. The motor will run until the switch is released or the seat reaches the full forward position. When the slide switch is moved to BACKWARD, battery voltage is supplied through fuse 17 to the slide motor through the front passenger's power seat adjustment switch. The slide motor is grounded through the FORWARD contact of the slide switch. The motor will run until the switch is released or the seat reaches the full backward position.

Recline
When the recline switch is moved to FORWARD, battery voltage is supplied through fuse 13 to the recline motor through the front passenger's power seat adjustment switch. The recline motor is grounded through the BACKWARD contact of the recline switch. The motor will run until the switch is released or the seat reaches the full forward position. When the recline switch is moved to BACKWARD, battery voltage is supplied through fuse 13 to the recline motor through the front passenger's power seat adjustment switch. The recline motor is grounded through the FORWARD contact of the recline switch. The motor will run until the switch is released or the seat reaches the full backward position.

Lumbar Support System

Power Supply
Battery voltage is supplied at all times through fuse 15 (in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box) to the driver's front passenger's lumbar support switch.

Raise Lumbar Support
When the lumbar support switch is moved to FORWARD, battery voltage is supplied to the lumbar support motor through the lumbar support switch. The lumbar support motor is grounded through the opposite contact of the lumbar support switch. The motor will run until the switch is released or the lumbar support reaches the full forward position.

Lower Lumbar Support
When the lumbar support switch is moved to BACKWARD, battery voltage is supplied to the lumbar support motor through the lumbar support switch. The lumbar support motor is grounded through the opposite contact of the lumbar support switch. The motor will run until the switch is released or the lumbar support reaches the full backward position.
