Front Door Subseal Replacement
Front Door Subseal ReplacementNOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the door.
- Use a clip remover to remove the clips.
1. Detach the clips (A, B), then remove the lower subseal (C).
2. Remove these items:
- Door panel
- Door sash inner trim
- Power mirror
- Door sash outer trim
3. Detach the clips, then remove the upper subseal (A) from the front edge of the door.
4. Pull the upper subseal (A) away from the upper portion of the door sash flange (B), then remove the subseal.
5. Install the subseal in the reverse order of removal, and these items:
- Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the subseal is installed in the door flange securely.
- Push the clips into place securely.
- Check for water leaks.
