Audio Remote Switch Test

'05 and '06 model without navigation

1. Remove the driver's airbag assembly.




2. Remove the 13P connector from the cable reel.




3. Measure the resistance between the No. 11 and No. 12 terminals in each switch position according to the table.
4. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the remote switch.

'06 model with navigation

1. Remove the driver's airbag assembly.




2. Remove the 20P connector from the cable reel.




3. Measure the resistance between the No. 18 and No.19 terminals in each switch position according to the table.
4. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the remote switch.
