DTC B1149: Right Rear Power Window Position Detect Circuit Error

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
3. Open and close the right rear power window by using the right rear power window switch manually.
4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B1134 or B1135 also indicated?

YES - Go to the indicated DTC troubleshooting.

NO - Go to step 5.

5. Reset the right rear power window.
6. Open and close the right rear power window by using the right rear power window switch manually.
7. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B1149 indicated?

YES - Go to step 8.

NO - The system has recovered and is OK at this time.

8. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
9. Substitute a known-good power window switch.
10. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
11. Open and close the right rear power window by using the right rear power window switch manually.
12. Check for the DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B1149 indicated?

YES - Replace the right rear power window motor.

NO - Replace the right rear power window switch.
