B1202

DTC B1202 or EEPROM error is indicated: Climate Control Unit Internal Error

NOTE:
- Check the battery condition and the charging system.
- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A

1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and then ON (II).
3. Wait for 6 seconds or more.
4. Do the self-diagnostic with the HDS or climate control unit
5. Check for DTCs.

Is DTC B1202 or EEPROM error indicated?

YES - The climate control unit is faulty, replace the climate control unit.

NO - Intermittent failure, the climate control unit is OK at this time.
