DTC B1668: Rear Shelf LF Antenna Circuit Open1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Select the TROUBLE CODE MENU from the HDS, then enter the SELF CHECK.
3. Do the SELF CHECK.
4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1668 indicated?
YES - Go to step 5.
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at the keyless access control unit and rear shelf LF antenna.
5. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
6. Disconnect keyless access control unit connector B (24P).
7. Disconnect the rear shelf LF antenna 2P connector.
8. Connect rear shelf LF antenna 2P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2 to body ground with jumper wires.
9. Check for continuity between body ground and keyless access control unit connector B (24P) terminals No. 4 and No. 5 individually.
Is there continuity?
YES - Go to step 10.
NO - Repair an open in the wire.
10. Reconnect keyless access control unit connector B (24P).
11. Connect the voltmeter between rear shelf LF antenna 2P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
12. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
13. Select the FUNCTION TEST MENU from the HDS, and do the TRUNK ROOM ANTENNA L DC OUTPUT.
Is there voltage?
YES - Replace the rear shelf LF antenna.
NO - Replace the keyless access control unit.
