Mirror Holder

Mirror Holder Replacement

Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program

NOTE: Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.

1. Adjust the mirror fully to the inward position.




2. Insert a trim tool between the mirror holder (A) and the mirror housing (B), and then quickly twist the tool to detach the bottom clips (C). Pad the edge of the mirror housing with a shop towel (D). Take care not to scratch the mirror housing.




3. Carefully pull out the bottom edge of the mirror holder (A), then release the side clips (B). Separate the mirror holder from the actuator (C) by releasing the hooks (D). Disconnect the mirror defogger connectors (E) from the heater pad terminals.
4. Reconnect the mirror defogger connector.
5. Reattach the hooks of the mirror holder to the actuator, then position the mirror holder on the actuator. Carefully push on the clip portions of the mirror holder until the mirror holder locks into place.
6. Check the operation of the actuator.
