Console Panel Removal/Installation

Center Console Panel Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program.

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the front seat, dashboard and related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Move the both front seats all the way back.
2. Remove these items:
- Center console rear section
- Dashboard lower cover
- Glove box housing




3. A/T model: Remove the trim (A).




4. M/T: Lower the shift lever boot (A) to release the hooks (B) from the boot, then remove the shift knob (C).




5. Remove the insert panel (A) to release the hooks (B).




6. Remove the screws (A, B), and detach the clips (C), then remove the driver's console side cover (D) and passenger's console side cover (E).




7. Remove the screws. Pull the center console panel (A) to release the pin (B), and disconnect the accessory power socket connector (C), front accessory power socket light connector (D), and seat heater switch connectors (E).




8. Turn the center console panel (A) then lift it up and away from the dashboard.




9. Remove the screws (A) from the back of the console panel, then remove the panel (B) from the console pocket assembly.
10. Remove the screws (C) from both sides, then remove the pocket A (D) and the pocket B (E) from both pocket supports (F).
11. Install the console panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips and hooks into place securely.
