Condenser Fan: Service and Repair

Radiator and Fan Replacement
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the front bulkhead cover.
3. Disconnect the radiator fan motor connector (A) and engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 2 connector (B), then remove the harness clamps (C) and radiator lower hose (D).





4. A/T model: Remove the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) cooler pipe mount bolts (E) and the ATF cooler hoses (F), then plug the line and hoses.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Disconnect the A/C condenser fan motor connector (A), harness clamps (B) and remove the radiator upper hose (C).





7. Remove the upper bracket cushions, then pull up the radiator.





8. Remove the fan shroud assemblies and other parts from the radiator.
9. Install the radiator in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the upper and lower cushions are set securely.
10. A/T model: Fill the transmission with ATF.
11. Fill the radiator with engine coolant, then bleed air from the cooling system.
