DTC B1106: Door Multiplex Control Unit Lost Communication with MICU (MICU Message) ('05-07 models)

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTC's, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis Test Mode.A.

1. Clear the DTCs using the HDS.
2. Cycle the ignition switch to OFF, and then back ON.
3. Check for DTCs using the HDS.

Is DTC B1106 indicated?

YES - Go to step 4.

NO - Intermittent failure, MICU is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections. If the connections are good, check the battery condition and the charging system.

4. Check for DTCs in the gauge control module, relay control module, and combination switch control unit using the HDS.

Are DTCs B1055,B1057, and B1255 also indicated?

YES - Go to MICU Input Test. MICU Input Test

NO - Go to Power Window Master Switch Input Test.
