Front Seat Ventilation Blower Motor/Duct Replacement

Seat-back Blower Motor/Duct

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

NOTE:
- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the seat-back.
3. Remove the seat-back cover and pad.




4. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the blower motor/duct (B) from the seat-back frame.




5. Remove the clips, then separate the duct (A, B) and blower motor (C).
6. Install the blower motor/duct in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.

Seat Cushion Rear Blower Motor/Duct

NOTE:
- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat cushion cover.




3. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A), then remove the connector from the bracket.




4. Remove the screws, and release the hooks (A) from cushion frame wire, then remove the blower motor/duct (B).




5. Remove the clips, then separate the duct (A) and blower motor (B).
6. Install the blower motor/duct in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.

Seat Cushion Front Blower Motor

NOTE:
- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat cushion cover.




3. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A) and remove the screws, then remove the blower motor (B) from the duct.
4. Install the blower motor in the reverse order of removal.

Seat Cushion Front Duct

NOTE:
- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the seat-back.
3. Remove the front seat cushion cover/pad.




4. Remove the screws, then remove the duct (A).
5. Install the duct in the reverse order of removal.
