DTC B1202: Climate Control Unit Internal Error

NOTE:
- Check the battery condition and the charging system.
- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A.

1. Clear the DTCs using the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then to ON (II).
3. Turn the climate control system on and operate several functions (A/C on/off, air mix and blend door operations, temperature settings etc.).
4. Check the DTCs by selecting the DTC MENU (DTCs) from the HDS.

Is DTC B1202 indicated?

YES - The climate control unit is faulty, replace the climate control units

NO - Intermittent failure, the climate control unit is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at climate control unit connector A (20P) and B (16P).
