Audio Unit Removal/Installation

NOTE:
- Eject all the discs before removing the audio unit to prevent damaging the CD/DVD player's load mechanism.
- If you are replacing the audio unit, write down the audio presets (if possible), and enter them into the new audio unit.

1. Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped).
2. Remove the audio-HVAC display module assembly.
3. Remove the screws and bolts, then separate the audio unit (A) and display panel control unit (B).

NOTE: To avoid damage, remove the screws (C) first, then remove the bolts (D).

4. Install the audio unit to the display panel control unit in the reverse order of removal.
5. Enter the anti-theft codes for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped). Set the clock (on vehicles without navigation).
