Audio Remote Switch Test

'04 model

1. Remove the driver's airbag assembly.
2. Remove the 4P connector (A) from the audio remote switch (B).






3. Remove the two mounting screws and the switch.
4. Measure the resistance between the No. 3 and No. 4 terminals in each switch position according to the table.






5. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch.

'05 and '06-08 models without navigation

1. Remove the driver's airbag assembly.
2. Remove the 13P connector from the cable reel.






3. Measure the resistance between the No. 11 and No. 12 terminals in each switch position according to the table.






4. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch.

'06-08 models with navigation

1. Remove the driver's airbag assembly.
2. Remove the 20P connector from the cable reel.






3. Measure the resistance between the No. 18 and No. 19 terminals in each switch position according to the table.






4. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the audio remote switch.
