Cowl Cover Replacement
NOTE:
- Take care not to scratch the cowl cover or the body.
- Use a clip remover to remove the clips.
1. Detach the clips (A, B), then remove the cowl cover upper trim (C).
2. Disconnect the windshield washer tube (D).
3. Remove the windshield wiper arms Service and Repair.
4. Remove the rear hood seal (A) by pulling it out. Carefully pull up the passenger's cowl cover (B) to detach the clips (C, D, E), and release the hook (F) on the passenger's cowl cover from the driver's cowl cover (G), then remove the cover by releasing the hooks (H).
5. Remove the rear hood seal (A) by pulling it out. Carefully pull up the driver's cowl cover (B) to detach the clips (C, D, E), then remove the cover by releasing the hooks (F).
6. Install the covers in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the washer tube is connected securely.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
