Rear Door Subseal Replacement




Rear Door Subseal Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the door or the related parts.
- Use a clip remover to remove the clips.

1. Detach the clips (A, B), then remove the lower subseal (C).





2. Remove these items:

- Door glass outer weatherstrip Service and Repair
- Door glass Service and Repair
- Door quarter glass Service and Repair

3. Detach the clips (A, B, C), then remove the upper subseal (D) from the front edge of the door.






4. Pull the upper subseal (A) away from the upper portion of the door sash flange (B), then remove the subseal.





5. Install the subseal in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the subseal is installed in the door flange securely.
- Push the clips into place securely.
