1. Remove the third shaft bearing from the torque converter housing using the adjustable bearing puller, the bearing remover shaft, and the slide hammer.
2. Check the ATF guide plate (A), and replace it if it is damaged.
3. Install a new bearing (B) in the torque converter housing.
4. Drive the bearing (A) into the torque converter housing using the driver handle and the driver attachment; install the bearing to a depth (B) of 0-0.07 mm(0-0.0012 in) below the torque converter housing surface (C).
