DTC 1404:

Audio Error 4 (DVD Error)

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Testing and Inspection.
- This navigation DTC sets when there is a problem with the DVD player.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.

1. Check the most recent DTC.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode.

3. Check the most recent DTC.

Is DTC 1404 indicated at the time you cycled the vehicle?

YES -

Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation (With Navigation).�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�
