Power Tailgate Outside Beeper Test/Replacement

1. Remove the rear bumper Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) form the power tailgate outside beeper (B).





3. Test the beeper by connecting battery power to the terminal No. 1 and ground to the terminal No. 2.

The beeper should sound.

4. If the beeper does not sound, replace the beeper.

5. Install the beeper in the reverse order of removal.
