Trunk Lid Outer Handle Switch Test/Replacement

1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the trunk lid trim .

2. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) from the trunk lid outer handle switch (B).





3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 2 and No. 3.

- With the button pressed, there should be continuity.
- With the button released, there should be no continuity.

4. If the continuity is not as specified, remove lock plate (C) and replace the switch.

5. Install the switch in the reverse order of removal.
