Door Lock Makes a High-Pitched Whine or Does Not Work
SYMPTOM
The door lock actuator makes a high-pitched whine when activated, or it doesn't work at all.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The brushes in the door lock motor vibrate when activated, or are contaminated.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace only the affected door latch assembly.
