Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2710

DTC 2710:

USB Cable Diag

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when a problem is detected in the USB circuit.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information How to Troubleshoot the Navigation System.

1. Clear the hard error code.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).

3. Go into the System Diagnostic Mode, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode.

4. Select the USB in the System Links.

Is Connection OK indicated?

YES -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose connections at the USB adapter.�

NO -

Go to step 5.

5. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

6. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at audio-navigation unit connector K (7P), and the USB adapter 5P connector.

Are the connections OK?

YES -

Replace the USB subharness and USB main harness connected directly to audio-navigation unit. If the symptom/indication is still present, replace the USB adapter.�

NO -

Repair poor connections or loose terminals, and recheck.�
