DTC Troubleshooting: B11C7

DTC B11C7:

Passenger's MICU IG1 Line Input Error

NOTE:

- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
- Before troubleshooting, make sure the No. 12 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box is OK.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then the ON mode.

3. Wait for at least 6 seconds.

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B11C7 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 5.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections. If the connections are good, check the battery condition Battery Test and the charging system.�

5. Check the DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B11C7 indicated with DTC U1282?

YES -

Go to DTC U1282 troubleshooting U1282.�

NO -

Go to step 6.

6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

7. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

8. Measure the voltage between the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box connector A (38P) terminal No. 35 and body ground.





Is there battery voltage?

YES -

Faulty passenger's MICU; substitute a known-good passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box and recheck.�

NO -

Check for an open or high resistance in the BRN wire between the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box.�
