DTC Troubleshooting: B1575
DTC B1575:
Auto Light Sensor Circuit Malfunction
NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then the ON mode.
3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1575 indicated?
YES -
Go to step 4.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.�
4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
5. Disconnect the automatic lighting sensor 5P connector.
6. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
7. Measure the voltage between body ground and automatic lighting sensor 5P connector terminal No. 1.
Is there about 5 V?
YES -
Replace the automatic lighting sensor Service and Repair.�
NO -
Go to step 8.
8. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
9. Disconnect passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box connector D (28P).
10. Check for continuity between passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box connector D (28P) terminal No. 9 and automatic lighting sensor 5P connector terminal No. 1.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Faulty passenger's MICU; replace the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box Passengers Under-dash Fuse/Relay Box (Passengers MICU) Removal and Installation.�
NO -
Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.�
