DTC Troubleshooting: B1901, B1902

DTC B1901:

Remote Slot Control Unit Internal Error (CPU Error)

DTC B1902:

Remote Slot Control Unit Internal Error (EEPROM Error)

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Do the battery terminal disconnect procedure.

2. Wait for at least 10 seconds to clear the DTCs.

3. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure.

4. Push the door outer handle lock button to lock the door.

5. Touch the door outer handle touch sensor to unlock the door.

6. Connect the HDS to the data link connector (DLC).

7. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode according to the instructions on the HDS screen.

8. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTCs B1901 and/or B1902 indicated?

YES -

Faulty remote slot control unit; replace it.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�
