DTC Troubleshooting: U0155

DTC U0155:

Lost Communication With the Gauge Control Module

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

2. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.

3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC U0155 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 4.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�

4. Check for any DTCs with the HDS.

Are there any other gauge control module DTCs indicated?

YES -

Troubleshoot the indicated gauge control module DTC(s). After troubleshooting, clear the DTC.�

NO -

Go to step 5.

5. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

6. Disconnect the BSI control unit 16P connector.

7. Disconnect gauge control module connector A (32P).

8. Check for continuity between gauge control module connector A (32P) terminal No. 30 and BSI control unit 16P connector terminal No. 6, and between gauge control module connector A (32P) terminal No. 29 and BSI control unit 16P connector terminal No 5.





Is there continuity?

YES -

Replace the BSI control unit BSI Control Unit Removal/Installation.�

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the gauge control module and the BSI control unit.�
