Ignition Switch Replacement

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure Procedures.

2. Remove the steering column covers Service and Repair.

3. Remove the two screws, the harness clip, and the bracket (A).






4. Disconnect the 5P connector (A) from the ignition switch (B).





5. Remove the two screws and the ignition switch.

6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

7. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure Procedures.
