DTC Troubleshooting: B1605

DTC B1605:

Keyless Access-MICU Communication Error

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

2. Touch the door outer handle switch to lock the door.

3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B1605 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 4.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTCs B1055, B1157, B1255, B1806, B2107, and B2155 also indicated?

YES -

Do the MICU input test MICU Input Test.

NO -

Replace the keyless access control unit Keyless Access Control Unit Input Test/Replacement.
