DTC Troubleshooting: B2135
DTC B2135:
A/T Reverse Signal Error
NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
1. Connect the HDS to the data link connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
3. Check for A/T system DTCs with the HDS.
Is there any DTC other than B2135 indicated?
YES -
Go to the indicated DTC troubleshooting.
NO -
Go to step 4.
4. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
5. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is the DTC B2135 indicated?
YES -
Go to step 7.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
7. Shift the lever from P to R position.
8. Enter BODY ELECTRICAL, then select ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTNG from the BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SELECT menu, then enter the DATA LIST with the HDS.
9. Check the ON/OFF information of the AT SHIFT R POSITION in the DATA LIST.
Is the information indicated ON?
YES -
Replace the adaptive front lighting control unit Adaptive Front Lighting Control Unit Input Test/Replacement, and do the adaptive front lighting control unit learning procedure Adaptive Front Lighting Control Unit Learning Procedure.
NO -
Do the MICU input test and check power, ground, and the B-CAN line MICU Input Test.
