Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Testing and Inspection

Trunk Lid Outer Handle Switch Test/Replacement

1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the trunk lid trim Interior Trim Removal / Installation - Trunk Lid.

2. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) from the trunk lid outer handle switch (B).






3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each outer handle position according to the table.





4. If the continuity is not as specified, remove the two bolts and replace the switch.
