Passengers Under-Dash Fuse/Relay Box Removal and Installation




Passenger's Under-Dash Fuse/Relay Box Removal and Installation

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

Removal

1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure.

2. Remove the right front door sill trim and right kick panel Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the connectors from the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box (A).





4. Remove the mounting bolts and remove the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box.

5. Release the tab (B) and remove the right kick panel mounting bracket (C).

6. Carefully remove the relays by prying under the base of relay Testing and Inspection.

NOTE: Do not use pliers. Pliers will damage the relays, which could cause the engine to stall or not start or cause other functions to fail.

Installation

1. Install the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box in the reverse order of removal.

2. Install the relays and connectors to the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box.

3. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.

4. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure.

5. Confirm that all systems work properly.
